“You can’t tell me what to do!!” Chelsea screamed at Jeff over the phone. However, Chelsea’s resistance to changing her diet (which is what Jeff was referring to) probably could have been heard all the way from Fairbanks, Alaska, to Sugar Land, Texas. When Jeff and Chelsea moved back to Texas from Alaska, it was time for some life changes, specifically getting serious about eating better and committing to a real workout regimen. Not long after the big move, Angie opened the gym.
It took some time for them to get used to the diet change. Their main goal was to eliminate as much starch as possible, meaning no pasta, bread, or beer….well, maybe not beer. Combining the new look diet with 3-4 day per week high intensity workouts –strength and cardio, Jeff and Chelsea began to reap the benefits of weight loss and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Jeff even eats a vegan lunch on workdays. Thanks Arbonne!!
Fast forward a year, Jeff had lost about 30 pounds. Fast forward another two years, and they are still going strong. Chelsea even claims she has “guns.” With the motivation from Angie, Eric, and Tara, the Murrays are the [self-proclaimed] stars of the 5:30pm classes. They’ve been sticking with it from day one through today, and there is no end to this fitness journey in sight.
